The Palmer School of Library and Information Science requires that its graduates compile a portfolio of their work throughout the program, to be organized into five goals that align with the American Library Association’s Core Competences of Librarianship. These goals are listed below and will link you to samples of my work.

Goal One: Apply the principles, ethics and philosophy of the profession while serving patrons, institutions, and communities.

Goal Two: Utilize a broad range of approaches, systems, and technologies to manage and deliver information.

Goal Three: Deliver user-centered services and cost-effective programs tailored to the needs of diverse populations.

Goal Four: Staff, manage and lead libraries and information organizations of all types.

Goal Five: Contribute to the profession through service, research and advocacy.
